 Pembroke Hill couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Kearney a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 31-29, 21-25,  25-23.
 Elizabeth Weaver paced Pembroke Hill's offense, picking up 15 kills. Weaver got some help from  Isabel Janes and her 42 assists. Weaver also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Lochlar O'Bleness, each putting up three.
Pembroke Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7-4. As for Kearney, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-11-2 record  this season.
 Pembroke Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kearney, they will square off against St. Michael the Archangel at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
