Kendall Buttles made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
