After having lost a blowout to Dirigo in their previous matchup, Traip were happy to find some success on Saturday. Traip were able to grind out a solid win over Sacopee Valley, winning 35-22. Sacopee Valley can consider this payback for the 0-25 loss they dealt Traip the last time the teams encountered one another.
The win got Traip back to even at 2-2. Sacopee Valley are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Traip take on Camden Hills at 7:00 PM. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games. Sacopee Valley will be staying on the road, facing off against Boothbay. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
