Caitlin Lafontaine made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over 9.1 innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off 20 hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than 11 strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring a run and stealing six bases while going 2-for-4.
