Eldorado is a perfect 9-0 against Albuquerque since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Eldorado is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
Eldorado is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Del Norte 26-3 on Monday. Considering the Eagles have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaidan Krenik was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Krenik was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Maddox Gonzales was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Timothy Kamphuis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs.
Eldorado was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .618. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Albuquerque unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 7-1 to Rio Grande.
Albuquerque saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jude Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Eldorado's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Albuquerque, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Eldorado hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .439. However, it's not like Albuquerque struggles in that department as they've averaged .322. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
