On Monday, Oxford was the victim of a rough 64-44 defeat at the hands of the Colonels. Oxford has not had much luck with the Colonels recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Oxford had strong showings from Brady Marqoupis, who scored 18 points, and Nolan Remington, who scored 16 points. That was a full 36.4% of Oxford's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, University Park lost to the Tigers on the road by a decisive 65-49 margin on Monday. University Park has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Oxford has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for University Park, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.
