The Holcomb Longhorns stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Scott 55-29. The win made it back-to-back wins for Holcomb.
Holcomb's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Halle Jones led the charge by scoring 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least a third of Holcomb's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jera Kruleski, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Holcomb is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Scott, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
