There's no place like home for St. James Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They greeted the New Year with with a 61-47 win over the Heritage Christian Academy Chargers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Thunder as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

St. James Academy had a senior duo take command as Jacob Fratzel almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds and Jake Kolich went 6 for 9 en route to 14 points and six boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kolich has scored all season. Kade Kwapiszeski also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
