The biggest upset of the week belonged to Thornton Fractional North, who took down 419th ranked Thornton Fractional North, 32-27. Anthony Sheko threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 92 yards in the win.
Thornton Fractional South extended the longest winning streak in South Suburban - Blue this week by beating Argo, 39-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Rebels.
Hillcrest's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Devonta Archer helped Hillcrest's passing attack out by catching five balls for 60 yards.
Devonte Brewer was the best wideout in the league this week as the Hawks beat the Meteors. Brewer racked up five receptions for 125 yards.
Hillcrest's Brewer and London Covington have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Brewer has thrown for 1210 yards this season, while Covington, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 42 catches for 660 yards. Devonta Wilson from Bremen leads the league in rushing with 1016 yards.
Earnest Sutton's team moved up to 426 from 476 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in South Suburban - Blue. The Hawks were able to make the jump by topping Thornton Fractional North 32-27.
