Berean Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Hayden Scarborough, who posted 16 points, and Connor Copeland, who put up 15 points. Lincoln Wilkerson was another key player, putting up eight points.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy of Knoxville posted their closest win since January 4th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Grace Christian Academy, sneaking past 44-42. The 44-point effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Christian Academy of Knoxville's win came from a few key players Berean Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caden Owens, who went 9 for 20 on his way to 24 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachary Coffman, who had ten points and five boards.
Christian Academy of Knoxville's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Berean Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Berean Christian hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 61.1 points per game. However, it's not like Christian Academy of Knoxville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 57.8 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Berean Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Christian Academy of Knoxville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 53-48 victory.
