Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Catholic walked away with it. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 21-20 win over the Catholic Central Cougars. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on ten straight.
West Catholic can attribute much of their success to Grady Augustyn, who rushed for 30 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 96 yards and one TD. Those 30 rushing yards gave Augustyn a new career-high.

West Catholic's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Catholic Central, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.
Coming up, West Catholic will square off against Hackett Catholic Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Irish's defense has only allowed 10.1 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
