DeQuincy won the last time they faced Pickering, and things went their way on Friday, too. DeQuincy made easy work of Pickering and carried off a 40-14 victory. DeQuincy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got DeQuincy back to even at 3-3. Pickering are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week DeQuincy take on East Beauregard at 7:00 PM. DeQuincy are catching East Beauregard at a good time: East Beauregard have scored fewer and fewer points over their past three games. As for Pickering, they will face off against Rosepine. Rosepine have averaged 41.75 points over the course of their past four games, so Pickering might be in for a challenge.
