Gage Thompson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February.
On the hitting side, Ayden Bullock was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Riverside Academy's record now sits at 13-4. As for Morgan City, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside Academy will venture away from home to face off against Newman at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morgan City, they will challenge St. Amant at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
