Valliant won the last time they faced Hugo and things went their way on Monday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Buffaloes. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 12 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ayden Fowler was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Davion Hankins, who scored two runs and stole two bases.

Valliant pushed their record up to 16-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Hugo, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-16.

Valliant will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Buffaloes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
