The Bloomfield Warhawks had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against Cromwell/Portland on Saturday as Bloomfield made off with a 42-20 win. Considering Bloomfield has won nine matches by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Bloomfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Davion Kerr, who rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 49 receiving yards. Bloomfield also got help from Davien Kerr who showed off his sure hands for 108 receiving yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Bloomfield, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. As for Cromwell/Portland, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
Bloomfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cromwell/Portland also has no future games currently scheduled.
