The Highland Scots are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Mission Oak Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Highland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Highland pushed their score all the way to 62 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 70-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgeview. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (58), Highland still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Mission Oak's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight defeat. They took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dinuba. Mission Oak has not had much luck with Dinuba recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Mission Oak might have lost, but man, Daniel Gonzalez was a machine: he scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Malakai Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Highland has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-10 record this season. As for Mission Oak, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-18.
