The Pequannock Golden Panthers will be playing at home against the Morristown-Beard Crimson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of three wins, Pequannock's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost to Randolph on the road by a decisive 67-53 margin.
Meanwhile, Morristown-Beard was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 54-48 to Parsippany. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Morristown-Beard in their matchups with Parsippany: they've now lost four in a row.
Pequannock's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Morristown-Beard, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Pequannock was able to grind out a solid win over Morristown-Beard in their previous matchup back in February of 2020, winning 65-55. Does Pequannock have another victory up their sleeve, or will Morristown-Beard turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
