The Chaparral Bobcats waltzed into Thursday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Manor New Tech 92-65 on the road. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Brad Miles was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Smith, who scored 16 points.
Despite the loss, Manor New Tech saw an underclassman step up: Isaiah Kinard scored 26 points. The game was Kinard's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keylan Morgan ll, who scored 16 points.
Chaparral is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Manor New Tech, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
