The Hugo Buffaloes''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 27-19 victory over Valliant. The win was just what Hugo needed coming off of a 45-12 defeat in their prior contest.
Hugo found their leader in underclassman Jayka Santillan, who threw for 232 yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Quincy Shelton, who picked up 162 receiving yards.
Hugo's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Valliant, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-7.
Hugo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Valliant also has no future games currently scheduled.
