Collinwood hasn't had much luck against Summertown recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Collinwood is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Collinwood won the last time they faced Hampshire and Jordan Andrews did her part to make sure it happened again. The Trojans put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday thanks in part to Andrews, who had 11 digs and three aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.
Collinwood never let Hampshire on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 25-10.
Collinwood's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Saydee Powell, who had 12 digs and one block, and Brilea Pigg, who had eight digs and four aces. Zali Daniels was another key player, getting three aces.
Columbia Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Summertown proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1.
Summertown walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 24-26, 25-19, 25-13.
Collinwood better focus on containing Zoei Bonner and Amelia Emerson as the pair were huge in Summertown's win. Bonner had 45 assists and six digs, while Emerson had 19 kills and five aces. Those 45 assists gave Bonner a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Izzy Garland, who had eight digs, seven kills, and three aces.
Collinwood's record now sits at 15-8. As for Summertown, their record is now 34-8.
Collinwood might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Summertown in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
