Volleyball Recap: Lutheran South Takes a Loss

Lutheran South saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars by a score of 2-1.

Despite the defeat, Lutheran South saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cody Abbas had 16 digs and one assist. Abbas is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Lutheran South now has a losing record of 4-5-2. As for Fort Zumwalt West, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-6 record.

Lutheran South has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Lutheran on the 14th. As for Fort Zumwalt West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fort Zumwalt South on the 12th.
