Braylen Thomas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jordan Mitchell , who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Arvada West lost, one person who can't be blamed is James Hadzic. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Hadzic set a new season high mark in blocks with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Stremel, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Cherokee Trail's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Arvada West, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
