The Harding County Ranchers won against the McIntosh Tigers last Saturday with 77 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Harding County breezed by McIntosh at home to the tune of 77-33. Considering Harding County has won three matches by more than 43 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Harding County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brennan Glines led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jarett Schuchard, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Harding County's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for McIntosh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harding County will challenge Faith at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Faith's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for McIntosh, they will head out on the road to face off against Timber Lake on Tuesday.
