Brentwood's loss came about despite a quality game from Ella Ryan, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ava Jarrett, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Ravenwood's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They fell 63-51 to Independence.
Brentwood's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-4. As for Ravenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
