 Meanwhile, Frontier Regional was able to grind out a solid  win over Minnechaug Regional last Thursday, taking the game  3-1.
 Frontier Regional got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 28-30, 25-22,  27-25.
 Agawam's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Frontier Regional, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Friday's  contest:  Agawam has really dialed in their serving game this season,  having  averaged 10.9  aces per game. However, it's not like Frontier Regional struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 15.7. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
