Two dominant  signal callers in  Javarion Brown and  Jamouri Nichols are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Huss Huskies will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against the West Charlotte Lions at 7:00  p.m. Huss is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 28.7  points per game  this season.
 Last Friday, Huss ended up a good deal behind South Point and lost  36-22. The Huskies gained 73 more yards on the day, but it was the Red Raiders that made the best use of them.
 Huss might have lost, but man,  Brown was a machine:  he rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 154 yards and a touchdown. Brown got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 80 yards. 114 of  Brown's passing yards were hauled in by Jakelan Littlejohn, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Even though they lost, Huss was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 258  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  rushing yard total in three consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, West Charlotte waltzed into their match  last Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  51-0 win over the Vikings. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 26  points or more this season.
 West Charlotte's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Nichols, who threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 30 yards.  Aidan Turner was another key player, rushing for 70 yards and three touchdowns.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to West Charlotte's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by  Sincere Gray and  Landon Cox-Arrington, who racked up  four sacks between them. Gray has been hot recently, having also posted seven or more  total tackles the last four times he's  played.
 West Charlotte has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record  this season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 41.5 points per game. As for Huss, they now  have a losing record at 4-5.
 Friday's   match might be decided in the on the ground. Huss has been excellent on the ground this season,  having  averaged 168.3  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like West Charlotte struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 153.7. It's looking like  Friday's  contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
