The Riverside Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Simmons Blue Devils at 7:20 p.m. on December 15th. Riverside has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 188 points over their last three matchups.
Riverside pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 67-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Delta.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Simmons, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-41 loss to Leflore County on Tuesday. Simmons has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Simmons, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Riverside against Simmons when the teams last played back in November as the team secured a 64-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Riverside since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
