Centennial (Peoria, Ariz.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, Ariz.), 38-10, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Coyotes led 21-3 at the half.
Centennial expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS's lone score in the quarter came on a field goal by
Joe Navarro.
With the win the Peoria school extended its winning streak to 10 games. Centennial defeated Apollo 24-3 last week.
Tucson High Magnet School's lone touchdown came on a 25-yard pass from undefined to
Donovan Moore in the fourth quarter.
The Coyotes went into the matchup giving up only 13.5 points per game. The 10 points that the Badgers ended with were well below their average of 36.8 coming into the game.
The loss was the third in a row for Tucson High Magnet School.
