Akron won against Sedgwick County  on Saturday with six  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Saturday. The Akron Rams walked away with  a   6-1  victory over the Sedgwick County Cougars. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Akron.

 On Sedgwick County's side,  Roman Kirk was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 3.1 innings while giving up  two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   four  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Kirk was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Josh Kler was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Akron's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sedgwick County, they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Akron will take on Wray at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sedgwick County, they will be playing at home against Caliche at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
