Even though Islands has not done well against Southeast Bulloch recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, Islands made off with a 69-68 victory over Southeast Bulloch. The victory was just what Islands needed coming off of a 76-56 defeat in their prior game.
Memorial Day is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Islands, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.
