Wakeland has gone a perfect 6-0 against Creekview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wolverines will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 2:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Wakeland's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Creekview has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
On Friday, Wakeland got the win against Highland Park by a conclusive 18-2. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jordan Mcnees tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February.
At the plate, Lauren McIllwain was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Sydney Franklin, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Wakeland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Highland Park only posted an OBP of .273.
Meanwhile, Creekview got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They had just enough and edged out Turner 5-4. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Kelis Lee was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Lee was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season.
Lee wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was London Jenkins, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Brodie Montez was another, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.
Wakeland's win bumped their record up to 15-4-1. As for Creekview, their victory bumped their record up to 3-13.
Wakeland got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Creekview by a conclusive 15-0 score. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
