The Bridgman Bees will head out on the road to take on the Michigan Lutheran Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bridgman posted their biggest win since December 1, 2023 on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 67-45 margin over New Buffalo. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Bridgman has posted against New Buffalo since January 18, 2020.
Meanwhile, Michigan Lutheran humbled Countryside Academy with a 65-32 victory.
Michigan Lutheran got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zac Lockman out in front who scored 21 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that Lockman scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Henry Stanage, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Bridgman's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Michigan Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Bridgman and Michigan Lutheran were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but Bridgman came up empty-handed after a 42-41 loss. Can Bridgman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
