The Phillips Loggers will take on the Stratford Tigers at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Phillips barely beat Hurley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Loggers blew past the Northstars 8-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Loggers.
Annaka Tobias was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Tobias was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
