The Therrell Panthers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back  wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Coretta Scott King YWLA by a score of  44-35  on Tuesday. That looming  44-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Therrell yet this  season.
 Therrell's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Emani Scott, who  scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Scott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Azil Hazzard, who  scored 16 points.
 Therrell has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season. As for Coretta Scott King YWLA,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-9.
 Therrell will look to defend their home court  on Friday against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate at 5:30  p.m. KIPP Atlanta Collegiate comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last seven games, a trend the  squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Coretta Scott King YWLA, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Washington at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
