The Concordia Christian Academy Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 54-9 loss at the hands of Northwest Yeshiva. Concordia Christian Academy lost against Northwest Yeshiva in their previous head to head last Thursday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 1-0 score last time.
Northwest Yeshiva got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Paulina Gamel out in front who scored 23 points. The contest was Gamel's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rose Clayman, who scored 16 points.
Concordia Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northwest Yeshiva, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concordia Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Muckleshoot Tribal at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Northwest Yeshiva won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Summit Classical Christian School at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th. Summit Classical Christian School comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
