The Life Christian Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Trinity Christian Gryphons at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Life Christian Academy has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Walsingham Academy hit Life Christian Academy with a seven-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 14-4 to the Trojans. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Life Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Radcliff, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Radcliff is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Aden Reynolds, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Trinity Christian and Episcopal, and Trinity Christian kept the tradition alive. The Gryphons blew past the Maroon 10-4 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Gryphons, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Yireh Yoon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks.
At the plate, Trinity Christian let Aidan Fenske and Isaac Norman run wild. Fenske went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Norman went 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Fenske is becoming a predictor of Trinity Christian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't). William Kapalka also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Trinity Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive contests.
Trinity Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Life Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Life Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Trinity Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
