If Kennedy was feeling good  fresh off their  28-6 takedown of St. Mary's last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears were dealt  a  43-14 loss at the hands of the Eden/North Collins Raiders on Friday. The Bears were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting  back in September of 2023.
  Brady Waring went supernova For Eden/North Collins., throwing for 280 yards and four  TDs, while also rushing for 83 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only nine carries. Waring is  on a roll when it comes to  passing touchdowns, as he's  now  passed for three or more in each of the last five games he's  played dating back to last season.  Silas Nellis did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 200  receiving yards.
Kennedy now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eden/North Collins, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kennedy will  face off against  rival Medina  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Eden/North Collins is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Barker/Royalton-Hartland  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
