Even though the High Tech CV Bruins scored an imposing 72 points on Friday, the Crawford Colts still came out on top. Crawford managed a 77-72 win over High Tech CV. The win made it back-to-back wins for Crawford.
Crawford got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tico Kirkpatrick out in front who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevon Blanks, who scored 20 points along with 4 blocks.
Crawford's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for High Tech CV, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crawford will challenge Fallbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fallbrook knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Crawford likes a good challenge. High Tech CV will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Hilltop at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th. Hilltop comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
