The Northglenn Norsemen are taking a road trip to  face off against the Kennedy Commanders  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Northglenn will be strutting in after a  win while Kennedy will be coming in after a  loss.
 Northglenn took a loss when they played away from home  on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Pomona  a   6-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Norsemen needed considering they were shutout in their previous   contest.
 They hit Pomona with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Angel Arellanes (3), 
 Manuel Mares, and 
 Max Chambers.
 Meanwhile, Kennedy has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Regis Groff on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Commanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings  (they are ranked 133rd, while the Fusion are ranked 16th).
 The  victory  got Northglenn back to even at 2-2. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1.
 Northglenn was able to grind out a solid  win over Kennedy in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023, winning  2-0. Will Northglenn repeat their success,  or does  Kennedy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
