Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Ware County Gators, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of Warner Robins by a score of 23-21. Ware County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Warner Robins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
When it comes to explaining why Ware County lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Quintin Orange jr. Despite the final result, he picked up 136 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Ware County's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Warner Robins, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
