St. Henry waltzed into their matchup on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Ryle Raiders. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Raiders back in March, they had to take a 7-6 loss.

St. Henry's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Detzel, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

St. Henry pushed their record up to 11-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Ryle, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Henry will welcome Simon Kenton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ryle, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Bishop Brossart at 5:00 p.m.
