The University Trailblazers lost against the Bethesda Christian Patriots back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. University took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bethesda Christian. University has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why University lost, one person who can't be blamed is Max Mccomb. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. Bryce Gray was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
University has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Bethesda Christian, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.
University will be playing in front of their home fans against Westfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully University focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Bethesda Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Heritage Christian at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
