Softball Recap: Lakeview's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Lakeview came into Monday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Youngsville Eagles an 8-0 shutout on Monday. The Sailors not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th (when they won 15-0).

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-9. As for Youngsville, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Lakeview will welcome Clarion-Limestone at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Youngsville, they will head out to take on Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
