Brentwood is 8-2 against Windsor Academy since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Cadence English and Bailey Barron were among the main playmakers for Brentwood as the former dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards and the latter went 6 of 9 on her way to 13 points in addition to eight boards and four blocks. The matchup was English's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Rizner, who posted eight points.
Brentwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Meanwhile, Windsor Academy hadn't done well against Covenant Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Windsor Academy secured a 44-38 W over Covenant Academy.
Windsor Academy found their leader in freshman Kyndall Bowen, who went 8 of 13 on her way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Roberts, who put up eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Brentwood's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Windsor Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Brentwood hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 55.1 points per game. It's a different story for Windsor Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 31.6 points. The only thing between Brentwood and another offensive beatdown is Windsor Academy. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Everything came up roses for Brentwood against Windsor Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, as the team secured a 76-16 win. In that contest, Brentwood amassed a halftime lead of 37-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
