Despite the loss, Red Bluff had strong showings from Marcos Torres, who scored ten points, and Bryce Owens, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Owens continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Red Bluff struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Pleasant Valley racked up 16 assists.
Isiah Fortune had a dynamite game for Pleasant Valley, scoring 13 points along with six assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fortune has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Martin, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Red Bluff's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Pleasant Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
Red Bluff will be playing in front of their home fans against Shasta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Foothill will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
