The East Ridge Knights will face off against the Sarasota Sailors at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. East Ridge is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last four games.
East Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They came out on top against Windermere by a score of  5-2.
 Sariah Espada spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on two hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Lilly Land, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lelia Bolden, who  got on base  in two of her four plate appearances with three  stolen bases and one  run.
 East Ridge  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in seven consecutive  contests.
Venice typically has all the answers at home, but  on Thursday Sarasota proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Indians  7-6.
  Mady Pint was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Sommer Speers was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  double.
 East Ridge's win was  their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 22-5. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Sarasota, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record  this season.
 Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Tuesday. East Ridge hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.7  home runs per game. However, it's not like Sarasota struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 0.5  home runs.
