The East Orange Campus Jaguars entered their tilt with the Seton Hall Prep Pirates with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. East Orange Campus came out on top against Seton Hall Prep by a score of 46-39 on Thursday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points East Orange Campus has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Seton Hall Prep saw an underclassman step up: Daniel Beazer scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Guzzardo, who scored seven points along with two blocks.
East Orange Campus' win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Seton Hall Prep, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-5 record last season and are now at 4-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Orange Campus will challenge Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arts will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 46th, while East Orange Campus is ranked ninth). Seton Hall Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Morris Knolls at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd.
