This season hasn't been kind to the Hancock Panthers, who are still winless after their 11th game. They were dealt a 55-21 loss at the hands of Grace Academy on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Hancock has suffered since December 8, 2023.
Alyssa Morris and Skylar Smith certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Morris scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Smith scored two points.
Hancock dropped their record down to 0-11 with that loss, which was their 13th straight at home. As for Grace Academy, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-3.
Hancock will challenge Forbes Road at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Grace Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Shalom Christian Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
