The Dunseith Dragons will be playing at home against the Thompson Tommies at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Dunseith has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 387 points over their last six matchups.
Dunseith pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 71-58 to Beulah. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (57), Dunseith still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, even though Sacred Heart/DNA HomeSchool/Riverside Christian scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Thompson still came out on top. Thompson put the hurt on the with a sharp 80-59 victory. Given Thompson's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 39th in North Dakota, while the are ranked 153rd in Minnesota), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Dunseith's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Thompson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.
