Seth Lowry Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Milton-Union got the W thanks in part to Seth Lowry playing the best football he has all season. Lowry rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown.
The win (which was Milton-Union's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Lowry and Milton-Union will head out on the road to square off against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Keeping Lowry company is Payton Mayfield, a fellow Milton-Union player. He rushed for 97 yards on only six carries, and also picked up 70 receiving yards. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards.
Unfortunately for Bethel, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Mayfield. Mayfield picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bees duked it out back in October of 2023.

Evan O'Leary's big game helped extend Lehman Catholic's winning streak to seven on Friday. Covington had no answer to O'Leary as he picked up 170 receiving yards and two touchdowns. O'Leary didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles and defended a pass.
